Kilimanjaro basil is a woody, bushy basil from East Africa, the land of Mount Kilimanjaro that gave it its name. Its leaves are so rich in camphor that it is also known as camphor basil. Our oil comes from plants grown in Angola. It smells fresh and cool, like crushed basil leaves with a clear camphor note and a soft, woody warmth underneath.
