Maydi (Mushaad) Frankincense smoke box

First-degree Maydi incense is harvested in Somaliland according to ancient traditions. This incense was among the favorites of the Egyptian pharaohs. The resin is given time to mature naturally which further develops the citrus aroma. In Somaliland, this resin is even used as chewing gum and to improve oral hygiene.
