Guggul resin is a type of myrrh gum resin that is harvested from the Commiphora mukul tree in India. With its warm and slightly sweet aroma, it is commonly used in incense for relaxation purposes. Guggul has been highly valued in Ayurvedic medicine for its rejuvenating and purifying properties. It is believed to have the ability to purify the air and cleanse the body when used in incense. Gugul is a base note that blends well with Frankincense, myrrh, sandalwood, patchouli, cinnamon, clove or cardamom.
