Myrrh Kua smoke box

This myrrh variety is harvested exclusively on the Socotra archipelago belonging to Yemen. It is one of the most refined and beloved myrrh varieties in the world. In English they also refer to it as Abyssinian myrrh. 

Myrrh kua is the preferred variety in many medicinal preparations. It is harvested in small quantities and under strict regulations. Since 2001, harvesting from living trees has not been allowed on Socotra. Only the resin from fallen trees is collected. Therefore, the yield is limited. 

Scent Experience: This unique myrrh variety is a delicate resin that needs a little more sand to accentuate its honey-like sweetness. Kua myrrh is less bitter than Somali or Yemeni myrrh. The deep, sensual and sweet fragrance creates a calm and serene atmosphere after which earthy amber notes reveal themselves. 

Kua is unlike any other myrrh, making it an absolute must for incense lovers.
