Frankincense smoke box

This incense was the key ingredient for the smoke offerings in Egypt. For centuries the harvest was specifically reserved for a few Arab families. Men were appointed and could not have physical relations or be near deceased people during the harvest. Frankincense is linked to a long life and strong memory. It has a unique and precious scent that’s resinous, herbal with a note of citrus and conifer. It’s easy to combine, and used as a base note. Frankincense slows down the breathing.
